Rules & Scoring Guide
Hit six target sections in sequence. Score varies by section and accuracy. Respect opponents: wait for turns and retrieve axes together.
Six Throws
Each player throws six times per round, hitting the six target sections in sequence.
Scoring
Score is determined by which section of the target you hit. Outer rings score lower; the bullseye scores highest.
Bullseye
A bullseye is worth the most points. Calling your bullseye before the throw earns a bonus.
Respect
Wait for your opponent's turn to finish before retrieving axes. Sportsmanship is part of the game.
League Night
Each season ends with a league appreciation night β invite your family and friends to celebrate!
Locations and Times
Our Axe League takes place at Celtic Axe Throwers venues in Portland, San Diego, and Austin. Leagues are scheduled seasonally β check our sign-up links above for the latest dates and times in your area.
